Final Fantasy 16, having sold over 3 million copies in just three days, is set to deepen its narrative with upcoming single-player story DLC. The Game Awards revealed a trailer showing new adventures for Clive and Jill, including encounters with new characters and a formidable new Dominant. Fans can get an early glimpse with a free part of the DLC available tonight.

The expansion continues with The Rising Tide in Spring 2024, featuring the Eikon Leviathan and the formidable Tonberry King boss. This update follows producer Naoki Yoshida's September announcement of additional content and a PC port to extend the game's post-launch journey. The focus is on enriching Valisthea’s world, responding to the community's desire for more immersive experiences with its inhabitants.
