Alan Wake 2 Unveils Gameplay at Summer Game Fest, October Release Confirmed
Remedy Entertainment showcased the first gameplay footage of Alan Wake 2 during Summer Game Fest, providing a glimpse into the highly anticipated sequel. The game takes a darker turn, emphasizing survival-horror elements and featuring a new playable character, Saga Anderson. Players will embark on a suspenseful journey investigating ritualistic murders in Bright Falls.
Alan Wake 2 offers two separate single-player stories, allowing players to choose between Alan Wake and Saga Anderson. Armed with firearms and a flashlight, they will explore locations such as Bright Falls, Watery Town, and the mysterious Dark Place.
The game is scheduled for release on October 17, 2023, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Remedy Entertainment plans to support the game post-launch with free content updates and two paid expansions named "Night Springs" and "The Lake House."
