Alone in the Dark Delayed to Avoid Holiday Crunch
Alone in the Dark has been postponed to March 20. Initially set for a January release, THQ Nordic announced the delay, citing a desire to prevent overworking the team during the holiday season. The original January 16 deadline would have meant intense work during the festive period, something both THQ Nordic and developer Pieces Interactive wanted to avoid.
The press release from THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive stated,
Our original release date in January 2024 would have meant a stressful and far from merry Christmas season for our team. Thus, we've decided to move the release of 'Alone in the Dark' to March 20, 2024. Ensuring our team's well-being is paramount, and we wish to avoid any excessive workload during the holiday season.
