Alone in the Dark Release Date Shifted

THQ Nordic has announced the postponement of Alone in the Dark to January 16, 2024. This delay is aimed at avoiding the gaming competition in October, with highly anticipated projects like Alan Wake 2, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and The Lords of the Fallen all set to launch in that month.

Alone in the Dark promises an unsettling reimagining of the classic survival horror game, blending psychological horror with Southern Gothic themes. Players can assume the roles of one of two protagonists: Edward Carnby or Emily Hartwood. Set in the 1920s South, Emily Hartwood's uncle has mysteriously vanished, leading her and the private investigator Edward Carnby on a harrowing journey to Derceto Manor, a mental institution hiding sinister secrets.
