Assassin's Creed Mirage: Release Date Announced and New Features Revealed
During the PlayStation Showcase Assassin's Creed Mirage, the upcoming mainline installment in the Assassin's Creed series, has received an official release date of October 12th. Along with the announcement, a new trailer was revealed, showcasing both new and familiar abilities.
According to a blog post published by PlayStation after the Showcase, one of the new features in Mirage is Assassin's Focus, which enables players to mark and assassinate multiple targets consecutively. Additionally, Ubisoft teases a fresh parkour element called the Pole Vault.
Mirage takes players back in time to Baghdad, set 20 years prior to the events of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and they will assume the role of Basim Ibn Ishaq, a character introduced in Valhalla. The game will be available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Amazon Luna, and pre-orders are now open. Pre-ordering will grant players access to a bonus quest titled The Forty Thieves.
