Assassin's Creed Shadows Delayed to February 2025

Ubisoft has announced that the release of Assassin's Creed Shadows has been delayed from its original November launch to February 14, 2025. The announcement comes shortly after the cancellation of a press event for the game earlier this week.

Marc-Alexis Côté, Ubisoft's Vice President Executive Producer for the Assassin's Creed franchise, shared the news on social media, explaining that the delay will allow developers more time to polish the game. Players with existing preorders will receive refunds.

In a formal statement to investors, Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin's Creed Shadows is "feature complete," but the response to Star Wars Outlaws encouraged them to take additional time to "fully deliver on its ambition" for the biggest entry in the franchise.
