Avowed Delays to Early 2025

Microsoft Game Studios has announced a delay for Obsidian Entertainment's action RPG, Avowed, now set to launch on February 18, 2025. This shift alleviates some of the pressure from the crowded fall 2024 release schedule, making it easier for gamers to manage both their time and wallets.

In the delay announcement, Microsoft teased more details on upcoming games from its portfolio, including titles from Activision, Blizzard, and Bethesda, to be revealed at gamescom. Avowed will also be the focus of Xbox's livestream on August 23, where more of the game will be showcased.

Avowed will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
