Bloodhunt to cease active development, but will remain playable
Sharkmob Interactive has announced that they will no longer actively develop their game, Bloodhunt, due to it not reaching the necessary player base to sustain development. However, the game will remain playable for as long as there is an active player community.
The ability to purchase premium tokens will be disabled later in September, but new cosmetics can still be unlocked. The team plans to add an in-game voting system for unlocking new features in the game's final update to keep the game interesting.
Although Bloodhunt will no longer receive updates, it will continue to be playable, making it one of the few live-service games to do so after active development has ceased. The game is currently available to download for PC and PlayStation 5.
