Capcom Announces Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster for Next-Gen Platforms

Capcom has revealed Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster (DR DR) in a surprise teaser. The remaster of the original Dead Rising will be available on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X, launching later this year.

The teaser highlights updated graphics, a remodeled protagonist Frank West with a new voice actor, and a more detailed Willamette, Colorado, teeming with zombies. Players will experience the same three-day survival challenge in the zombie-infested mall, using various improvised weapons.

Originally released in 2006 for Xbox 360, and later in 2016 in HD for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, Dead Rising was praised for its unique real-time gameplay and campy combat. This remaster brings the iconic zombie-slaying adventure to modern platforms with enhanced visuals and gameplay.
