Capcom Announces Open Beta Test for Street Fighter 6
Capcom has surprised Street Fighter fans with an announcement of an open beta test for Street Fighter 6, which will take place from May 19-21. This follows two closed beta tests and a recent demo launch, which had led fans to believe that there would be no more chances to play the game before its June 2 release.
The open beta will include all the content from the second closed beta test, such as the Battle Hub, which allows players to customize characters, challenge others to matches, or play classic Capcom games via in-game arcade cabinets. The playable characters in the open beta will be the same as in the second closed beta, including Ryu, Guile, Ken, Chun-Li, Juri, Luke, Jamie, and Kimberly.
The open beta will be available for free download on all platforms, except PlayStation 4. Players who create characters in the demo version of the game can carry them over to the full game, but those created in the open beta will not be able to.
