Capcom Reveals Dragon's Dogma 2 Gameplay and Details at TGS 2023

During TGS 2023, Capcom unveiled a new gameplay trailer for the role-playing game Dragon's Dogma 2 and shared fresh details. In the game, players will have access to four starting character classes, each with its unique combat mechanics: Fighter wields a one-handed sword and shield for close combat, Archer focuses on long-range attacks using a third-person aiming system, Mage casts various spells, and Thief specializes in clinging to monsters and swift dagger attacks.

The presentation also introduced the game world, including the kingdom of Vermund and the canyon nation of Batthal. It showcased two advanced classes (Mystic Spearhead, combining magic with a dual-headed spear, and Magick Archer, capable of shooting magic-infused arrows), a day and night cycle, the ability to use campfires for healing and interacting with companions, and more.

Dragon's Dogma 2 will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, though the release date has not been announced yet.
