Cities: Skylines II Console Release Delayed Indefinitely

July 9, 2024 by Alex Novichenko

Cities Skylines 2 faces more setbacks as its console version is delayed indefinitely. Publisher Paradox announced that the console release, initially rescheduled for October 2024, won't meet this target due to unresolved stability and performance issues.

On its forums, the developer cited unmet stability and performance targets and unresolved issues that would significantly impact the player experience.

"We understand this is disappointing and not what we had hoped for either," Colossal Order wrote. "However, we are committed to keeping you informed throughout this development process, even if the updates aren’t always what we’d like."
