Dragon Age: The Veilguard Goes Gold
After nearly a decade of anticipation, BioWare and EA have announced that Dragon Age: The Veilguard has officially gone gold. The news marks a major milestone as production discs are being pressed and prepared for shipping ahead of the game's release on October 31 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
The announcement came via the official Dragon Age X account, featuring a playful image of gold discs over a skeleton’s eyes, celebrating the long-awaited follow-up to Dragon Age: Inquisition, which debuted in 2014.
Set a decade after the events of Inquisition, The Veilguard continues the saga in the troubled world of Thedas, where protagonist Rook must rally new allies to confront a worsening crisis. Previews have shown epic battles, including a face-off with a dragon and a confrontation with the game’s antagonist, Ghilan'nain.
