Electronic Arts announces release date and features for F1 23

Electronic Arts has announced that F1 23 is set to launch on June 16 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game will bring back its story mode, Braking Point, which follows the journey of Aiden Jackson and Devon Butler as they join the Konnersport Racing Team.

The story revolves around their family dynamics, particularly Devon's sister Callie Mayer, who is also a rising star in F2 and hopes to make it to F1. The game also introduces two new racing locations, the Las Vegas Street Circuit in Nevada, USA and the Losail International Circuit in Doha, Qatar, as well as other community-requested features such as red flags, which were last seen in F2 2014.

The cover athlete for F1 23 is Max Verstappen, the current F1 World Champion for 2021 and 2022.
