Firaxis Games Reveals Civilization 7 with 20-Minute Gameplay Showcase

Firaxis Games has unveiled a 20-minute gameplay presentation for the highly anticipated Civilization 7. The video offers an in-depth look at the game's new features, particularly the revamped leader system. Each leader will have unique abilities that can be upgraded throughout the game, allowing players to shift their civilization's strategy across different eras. Notably, for the first time in the series, players can choose leaders and civilizations independently.

Series creator Sid Meier also made an appearance in the presentation, calling Civilization 7 a revolutionary step for the franchise. The developers are focused on creating a more immersive and atmospheric gameplay experience.

In addition, Firaxis released a trailer featuring the game's narrator, played by Gwendoline Christie, famous for her role as Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones. Christie's character will guide players through the various phases of human history.

Civilization 7 is scheduled for release on February 11, available on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
