Gameplay Trailer Frostpunk 2: A Glimpse into the Harsh Reality of Post-Apocalyptic Survival

11 bit studios has unveiled a glimpse into the gameplay of their upcoming post-apocalyptic city-survival game, Frostpunk 2. This game is a sequel to the highly successful 2018 strategy game Frostpunk, which sold over 3 million copies. Set in New London, 30 years after the Great Storm depicted in the original game, Frostpunk 2 introduces the era of the oil industry and its impact.

The game continues to explore the narrative of a community grappling with severe challenges. Players assume the role of a Steward, responsible for the sustainability and survival of their city. The gameplay involves managing a burgeoning metropolis, where residents are concerned about their children's future and the rising crime rates. Players must balance the demands of the populace, ranging from addressing the deplorable conditions caused by industrial expansion to providing employment opportunities.

Frostpunk 2 is slated for release on PC in the first half of 2024 and can be added to your Steam wishlist. It will also be accessible from day one on PC Game Pass and will later become available on Xbox Game Pass following its release on Xbox Series X/S. 11 bit studios also plans to announce more additions to the Game Pass at a later date.
