Hell is Us Resurfaces with 2025 Release and Gameplay Trailer
Originally announced in April 2022 by Deus Ex: Human Revolution art director Jonathan Jacques-Belletete, Hell is Us, developed by Rogue Factor, was initially set for a 2023 release but has now resurfaced with a 2025 target and a debut gameplay trailer shown at State of Play.
Blending Dark Souls with Chernobylite, this third-person ARPG is set in a near-future, war-torn world plagued by supernatural creatures immune to modern weapons. Players navigate with a drone, a sword, and—uniquely—without maps, compasses, or quest markers. According to the Steam listing, "Following your instincts is part of the adventure."
