Little Nightmares 3 Release Delayed Following Staff Layoffs

June 1, 2024 by Alex Novichenko

The release of Little Nightmares 3 has been pushed from 2024 to 2025 by Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco Europe. The developers need more time to ensure the game meets their high-quality standards, according to their announcement on X/Twitter. This delay follows Supermassive Games' decision to lay off about 90 employees in March 2024.

The development team expressed their commitment to delivering a top-notch experience and ensuring the game gets the attention it deserves. "Quality is our top priority, and we've decided to move the release to 2025," they stated. Although the delay is disappointing for fans, more updates are expected in summer 2024.

Introduced at Gamescom 2023, Little Nightmares 3 features new characters, Low and Alone, and offers both solo and two-player co-op gameplay. It will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
