Making of Homeworld 3: A New Narrative in Space Strategy Gaming

Blackbird Interactive, in collaboration with PC Gamer, has revealed a Behind the Scenes trailer detailing the development of Homeworld 3, which is set to release on PC on March 8, 2024.

Homeworld 3 introduces an entirely new narrative within the Homeworld universe. The story revolves around Imogen S'Jet, a scientist and the heir to Karan S'Jet, who takes on the role of Fleet Commander to uncover the secrets of The Anomaly, a looming threat to the galaxy's future.

The game elevates the series to a new level with its captivating cinematic storytelling and innovative gameplay. It enhances the traditional 3D real-time strategy (RTS) elements, incorporating advanced features such as cover-based tactics and physics-driven ballistics for a more dynamic space combat experience.

Gamers can also anticipate an exciting competitive multiplayer mode called Skirmish and collaborate in War Games, a new cooperative mode. War Games blends the strategic essence of Homeworld with the thrilling challenges and progression typical of roguelike games.
