Naughty Dog releases patch for troubled PC port of The Last of Us Part 1
Naughty Dog, the developer of The Last of Us Part 1, has released a patch for the game's PC port to address several performance issues and crashes reported by players. The update also includes additional diagnostic information to help investigate issues related to shader building and stability problems.
The PC version of the game was developed by Iron Galaxy, but it faced negative reviews on Steam due to crashes and performance problems related to shader compiling. Despite the rocky PC launch, The Last of Us franchise has been thriving, with the release of The Last of Us Part 1 for PS5 and the conclusion of the HBO series. Naughty Dog is currently working on another patch to fix bugs and improve performance.
