NetherRealm Studios Kombat Kast Unveils New Mortal Kombat 1 Characters

During the NetherRealm Studios Kombat Kast, a livestream for Mortal Kombat 1, a trailer showcased the Lin Kuei ninja clan and introduced playable characters Smoke and Rain. Additionally, the trailer revealed four Kameo characters: Sektor, Cyrax, Frost, and a classic version of Scorpion.

Scorpion and Johnny Cage were the focus of the Kombat Kast, with in-depth discussions about their movesets. Scorpion wields a spear and a new roped hook weapon, while Johnny Cage gains buffs through taunting.

Smoke and Rain join an impressive roster that includes Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, and more. Mortal Kombat 1 is set to launch on September 19 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

This upcoming installment aims to introduce a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe and has generated excitement with its new character reveals and intense gameplay videos. Fans eagerly await the release of Mortal Kombat 1 and its unique blend of fighting action.
