The latest State of Play revealed a new trailer for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2, subtitled "On the Beach," slated for a 2025 release. The trailer, featuring Norman Reedus as Sam Bridges, hints at an expansive and varied game world. It teases ongoing threats to humanity and showcases unique elements like a robotic samurai and peculiar characters, true to Kojima's style. The game's broader narrative focuses on Sam's mission to reconnect the world.

Additionally, Death Stranding: Director's Cut has launched on Apple devices, coinciding with a special Backbone One controller release. A Death Stranding film is also in the works with A24.
