Nintendo Unveils Metroid Prime 4: Beyond with First Gameplay Trailer

After more than seven years since its initial announcement, Nintendo has finally revealed Metroid Prime 4, now titled Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The exciting news came during the June 2024 Nintendo Direct, where fans were treated to the first gameplay footage. The trailer showcased numerous gameplay clips, highlighting the intense battles Samus will face against a variety of alien creatures. The game is set to launch in 2025.

Metroid Prime 4 was first announced at E3 2017 with Bandai Namco Studios leading the development. However, the project encountered significant challenges, leading Nintendo to restart development in 2019 and hand it over to Retro Studios, the original developers of the franchise.
