No new Battlefield in near future

Speaking during a NASDAQ conference this morning in London, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said, that you must not anticipate Battlefield in near future. This may upset some shooter fans, but I think this will make series only better. Speaking about two years, Jorgensen didn’t clarify whether he meant the calendar or fiscal year period.

The good thing is developers are working on new Battlefront game and it will be released next year for the joy of all Star Wars fans. DICE took fan “criticism to heart” towards Star Wars Battlefront, so next installment will offer more to players. Maybe we will have a nice story mode?

Maybe, but what we know for sure, content of new game will include something from Star Wars Episodes 7 and 8.
