Path of Exile 2 Beta Delayed to Allow More Development Time
Grinding Gear Games, the developer behind Path of Exile 2, has announced a delay in the open beta initially scheduled for June 7, moving it to later in 2024 to ensure additional polishing of the game. The decision was made as the studio realized the need for more time to refine the gameplay to their satisfaction.

In their Twitter statement, Grinding Gear explained that, although the game's content could have been ready by the original date, achieving the desired level of gameplay polish has proven more time-consuming than anticipated.
As a result, the studio will conduct alpha testing in June and postpone the beta to the end of the year, although a specific new date for the beta has not been set.
