Sony Pulls Concord From Sale After Disappointing Launch
After just a week on the market, Sony has pulled Concord from sale and will shut down its servers on September 6 due to poor sales and low player numbers, with only 25,000 copies sold. Game director Ryan Ellis acknowledged some aspects of the game missed the mark and hinted at future plans to rework the title.
Sony is offering automatic refunds to all buyers, including those who purchased the game on PS5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Physical copy owners can get refunds from their retailers.
Originally, Concord was set for seasonal updates, but these plans are now uncertain. The game may return in a different form, possibly as a free-to-play title.
