Sony Reveals PC Requirements for Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
Sony has unveiled the PC requirements for Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Surprisingly, it doesn't mandate an SSD, despite being a crucial aspect of the game's marketing for the original PlayStation 5 version.
The minimum specs for running Rift Apart on Very Low settings (720p and 30fps) include an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 470 GPU, and 8GB of RAM. It can be played on HDD with 75GB of space, but Recommended and higher settings need 75GB of SSD space, which contradicts Sony's initial marketing.
For Recommended settings (1080p and 60fps), players will need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 GPU, and 16GB of RAM.
For the highest graphics quality on the Ultimate Ray Tracing setting (4K and 60fps), the PC will require an Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 9 5900X CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPU, and 32GB of RAM.
The PC version of Rift Apart will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store from July 26, 2023, joining other previously PS5-exclusive titles like God of War and The Last of Us Part 1 on the platform.
