Sony has officially announced the PlayStation 5 Pro, a powerful upgrade from the standard PS5, priced at $700 USD.

Upgraded GPU: 67% more Compute Units and 28% faster memory, enabling up to 45% faster rendering for smoother gameplay.

Advanced Ray Tracing: Enhanced ray tracing with double to triple the speed for more dynamic light reflections and refractions.

AI-Driven Upscaling: PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution uses machine learning to deliver sharper image clarity with added detail.

Launching on November 7, the PS5 Pro does not include a disc drive, though an add-on is available for $80. Key games like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Spider-Man 2, and Hogwarts Legacy will feature enhanced performance for the PS5 Pro. Sony aims to provide the best gaming experience without needing to choose between performance and visual quality. Preorders start on September 26.
