Stray Gods Release Date Pushed Back to Avoid Clash with Baldur's Gate 3 Launch on PC

The constantly changing release dates of highly anticipated role-playing games lead developers to strive to avoid launch duplication. The latest delay is associated with Stray Gods, an upcoming role-playing game developed in collaboration with renowned writer David Gaider from Dragon Age.

Initially scheduled for release on August 3rd, the game has now been pushed back to August 10th. This decision follows a recent move by Larian Studios to adjust the release of Baldur's Gate 3 for PC to avoid overlapping with Starfield.

In a statement posted on the developers' social media channels at Summerfall Studios, it states: "We want everyone to have ample space to check out Stray Gods when it launches. Baldur's Gate 3 is hotly anticipated (by us, too!) and we want to give our fans room to celebrate Stray Gods."
