Telltale Games Continues The Wolf Among Us 2 Development

Fresh screenshots from The Wolf Among Us 2 were recently unveiled, signaling ongoing development at Telltale Games, which first announced the sequel in 2019.

Telltale Games shared four new images on their community forums, stating,

"We've maintained a low profile, diligently working on realizing the vision of TWAU2. We're not yet ready for a substantial update, but we're pleased to offer a glimpse into the current version with these in-progress screenshots. Rest assured, the journey in Fabletown will continue."

Following a reduction in staff in October, a former team member disclosed that only a small group remains on the project, and outgoing employees were bound by non-disclosure agreements that prevent them from discussing the game's development.

Despite these challenges, Telltale reaffirmed their commitment to the project, stating the game is still in active development and not facing cancellation. However, its release has been deferred beyond 2023 without a specified future release date. The game is planned for release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
