THQ Nordic and Frozenbyte Announce Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy, the latest chapter in the beloved puzzle platformer series, has been announced by THQ Nordic and Frozenbyte. The game will feature 20 levels filled with obstacles and traps, set in a magical world where players guide three unique heroes. Although no release date has been announced yet, the game will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Switch.

Trine 5 brings back Amadeus the Wizard, Zoya the Thief, and Pontius the Knight for another adventure. Players can experience the game solo or team up with two friends for online or local co-op modes. Frozenbyte promises that the game will have a skill quest system, dynamic physics, and tactical multi-phase boss fights that offer replayability for puzzles.

The game's combat will be challenging, as players battle the Clockwork Knights and the Rat Gang. However, adjustable settings for action, puzzles, and character resurrection will allow for a more relaxed experience. The soundtrack will also feature a mix of old favorites and new tracks, enhancing each level's ambiance.
