THQ Nordic Drops Alone in the Dark Gameplay Trailer

THQ Nordic has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for the eagerly anticipated revival of the classic horror game franchise, Alone in the Dark, scheduled to release on January 16, 2024. The trailer, titled "Looking for Jeremy," clocks in at nearly eight minutes and features dual protagonists Edward Carnby, portrayed by David Harbour of Stranger Things, and Emily Hartwood, played by Jodie Comer.

Set in the ominous Derceto Manor, the trailer showcases a search for a character named Jeremy, with the gameplay revealing Edward navigating eerily deserted streets and dodging enemies. In contrast, Emily's path is fraught with immediate danger as she encounters and combats ominous foes.

THQ Nordic is offering players the option to experience the story from either Edward or Emily's perspective, each providing a unique viewpoint on the unfolding events. The trailer also teases the game's diverse settings, from dimly lit streets to a brighter exploration inside the manor, and even a glimpse of what appears to be swampy farmland.
