Ubisoft's Skull And Bones Game Faces Yet Another Release Delay

During the latest earnings briefing, Ubisoft announced another delay for the release of the pirate game Skull And Bones, which was initially announced back in 2017. Originally planned for release in the 2023-2024 fiscal year, the project will now set sail in the fourth quarter of the 2023-2024 fiscal year, meaning it will be released somewhere between January and March 2024.

Just to recap, Skull And Bones is set during the Golden Age of piracy in the Indian Ocean. The main character embarks on a career journey from being an outcast on a humble vessel to becoming a renowned pirate. The game encapsulates all the romance of the genre, including assembling a crew, creating your own fleet, plundering merchant ships, and more.
