Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun Set to Release on May

Auroch Digital has revealed the release date of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. This first-person shooter, which takes inspiration from classic games such as Doom, will launch on May 23 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

According to the lead designer of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, Grant Stewart, the game employs a hybrid system that combines modern technology with retro design. The studio creates 3D models of enemies and then uses them to create 2D flipbook animations, resulting in a vintage look. Additionally, the game will utilize modern AI to update enemy behaviors, making the game more dynamic and challenging.
