World of Tanks developers joined the United 24 platform in support of Ukraine
Wargaming, known for popular titles like World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, has initiated a charitable project spanning multiple games to aid Ukraine. Profits from exclusive Ukraine-inspired bundles will fund new ambulances for Ukrainian medical teams.
In collaboration with United24, Ukraine's dedicated fundraising platform established post-Russia's 2022 invasion, players from Wargaming's six major games - including World of Tanks PC, World of Tanks Blitz, World of Tanks: Modern Armor, World of Warships, World of Warships: Legends, and World of Warplanes - can now buy special Ukraine-centric custom packs. Notably, many items in these bundles were designed by Wargaming's team in Kyiv, the creative force behind World of Warplanes.
These unique bundles offer in-game perks like currency and boosts, along with exclusive camouflage patterns, badges, designs, and other aesthetic upgrades reflecting Ukraine's national motifs. The campaign, which will continue until November 1, has already seen the sale of over 25,000 bundles, as noted on the campaign's online tracker. All profits from this endeavor will be channeled to United24, contributing to the procurement of Type C ambulances, aiding Ukrainian medical professionals in their life-saving missions.
