Xbox Game Pass Core: Curated Collection of Games Revealed as Replacement for Xbox Live Gold
Earlier, it was announced that Xbox Live Gold, along with the monthly Xbox Games with Gold lineup, will be replaced by Xbox Game Pass Core. This means that instead of monthly additions of new games, players will have access to a carefully curated collection of "over 25 games in a new offering for gamers around the world."
The subscription will cost $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year and will include games such as Gears 5, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Grounded, Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, and more, as stated in the press release. While the full list of 25 games has not been announced yet, here are the confirmed titles that will be available after the launch of the new Xbox Live Gold replacement on September 1:

- Dishonored 2
- Doom Eternal
- Fable Anniversary
- Fallout 4
- Fallout 76
- Forza Horizon 4
- Gears 5
- Grounded
- Halo 5: Guardians

- Ori & The Will of the Wisps

Furthermore, Xbox has stated that new games will be added "2-3 times a year." However, it is yet to be clarified whether these new games will replace existing titles in the collection or be added alongside the already available games.
